This week’s to-do list is so mundane

Arrange for a settlement attorney. Find a homeowner’s policy. Negotiate with the seller for fixes, per the inspection report.
Register the car. Find a notary, before registering the car. Also get retirement policy switcheroo form notarized.

We have made an offer ..

.. to purchase the house we are renting. We are offering what we think is a reasonable price, but somewhat less than the owner is asking. At this moment, I feel nervous, optimistic, excited, and, most importantly, willing to take No for an answer.
Update: It’s done! We are buying a house!
